Who we are
The Homefield Journal is an online magazine about the home, published at thehomefieldjournal.com. For any question about this policy, write to editors@thehomefieldjournal.com or use the contact form.
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the reason you selected and your message. We use this information only to read and answer your message. Messages are stored encrypted, and the notification sent to the editors contains a link to the message, not its content.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which articles are read. Analytics tags load only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and refusing them has no effect on your access to the site. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Details are in our cookie policy.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not publish the email address you send us.
Service providers
The site is hosted by a web hosting provider, and images are served from Cloudflare storage. These providers process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages, under their own security obligations.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of corrections, and we delete them on request. Consent records for cookies are kept to show which choice was made and when.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you sent through the contact form by writing to editors@thehomefieldjournal.com. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will answer such requests within the time those laws set.
Children
The site is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and its review date.
